COMELEC proclaims new Sorsogon City leaders

Sorsogon City Commision on Election (COMELEC), headed by Atty. Ryan Filgueras, officially proclaimed the winners of the May 10 local elections today in a simple ceremony held at the City Hall. Proclaimed mayor is the incumbent mayor Leovic Dioneda and his running mate, Bobet Rodrigueza was proclaimed vice mayor.

In his speech, re-elected mayor Dioneda thanked the Sorsoguenos and assured them that he will continue to serve them the best way he can. Meanwhile, Rodrigueza said that he will never forget the support that the Sorsoguenos gave him after winning by landslide. He also thanked the all out support given by the religious group Iglesia ni Cristo.

    for the new elected officers congrtlation guyz,and may God gv u cleen heart and guide u.2 those hu r unlucky 2 b a winner,stil dr r so many thngs u cn do 2 help our nation.to the MADLANG PIPOL, guys we made a big part in putting up new leaders but it doesn’t end this way…dont always blame the govrmnt about watz happening to our country..y not ask our selves first about wat have we done for our country aside from electing this new leaders…it doesn’t matter wat sector we belong,wat dialect we speak as long as we’re both FILIPINO and we have unity and we respect each other differences we can make it……..lets mke a better change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
