PUBLIKO MULING PINAALALAHAN NG BIR UKOL SA KANILANG KAMPANYA SA PAGHINGI NG RESIBO

Kaugnay ng kampanya ng pamahalaan ukol sa buwis, muling pinaalalahanan ng Bureau of Internal Revenue ang publiko sa kahalagahan ng paghingi ng resibo sa anuman at alinmang bagay na binibili upang makatulong sa pamahalaan.

Ayon kay Sorsogon District Revenue Officer Arturo Abenoja, mahalaga ang pakikipagtulungan ng bawat mamamayan upang umusad ang ekonomiya ng bansa.

Kaugnay naman ng pagkalito ng ilang mga residente dito ukol sa pagkakaiba ng sales invoice at official receipt na iniisyu sa kanila, ipinaliwanag din niya na parehong mahalaga ang mga ito at nagkakaiba lamang pagdating sa sale of goods or properties at sale of services.

Sinabi ni Abenoja na sa bagong Vallue Added Tax Law, Sec. 4.106-1, sales invoice ang ibibigay kung ang binayaran ay mga groceries, kagamitan o mga bagay na nahahawakan o yaong kabilang sa kategoryang sale of goods or properties.

Habang nakasaad naman sa Sec. 4.108-1 na official receipt ang ibibigay kung ang binayaran ay ang serbisyo, pati na rin ang pagpapaupa ng mga bagay o kagamitan, o yaong kabilang sa kategorya ng sale of services and use of or lease of properties.

Aniya, mahalagang naiintindihan ng publiko ang mga programang ikinakampanya ng pamahalaan nang sa gayon ay mas nagiging madali sa kanila na tumulong sa mga ginagawang reporma ng pamahalaan.

Dagdag pa niya na maliit na hiling lamang ng BIR sa publiko ang paghingi ng resibo, subali’t napakalaking bagay ang resultang ibibigay nito sapagka’t babayad ng tamang buwis ang mga business establishments at yaong mga nagbebenta ng serbisyo.
Binigyang-diin din niya na ang hihingiing resibo ay mag-re-reflect sa books of accounts ng mga may-ari ng negosyo, at ang hindi paghingi ng resibo ay magiging malaking kawalan sa kaban ng ating pamahalaan.
